Explore this fascinating Japanese paper marbling technique using water-based sumi inks floated on plain tap water. Suminagashi literally means spilled ink.
Create intricate, patterned rice papers using this ancient and meditative technique. Sumi marbled rice papers can be later used to create collages, greeting cards, and original paintings.
Quick and easy, each marbled paper is one-of-a kind. No prior experience needed—all levels welcome.
