Artist • Vergie Ries

VergieVergie Ries is a professional watercolor artist who operates her fine arts business from her studio in Beaverton. She started painting again in 2004 after retiring from a 20+ year career in public administration. Her recent shows include Valley Art in Forest Grove, Sequoia Gallery in Hillsboro, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Beaverton City Hall, and Pacific University.

Vergie has served as arts consultant to Valley Art, Village Gallery, Hillsboro Visual Arts Association (DBA Sequoia Gallery and Studios) and currently Westside Cultural Alliance of Washington County. Her work has been featured in shows at Sequoia Gallery in Hillsboro, Beaverton City Hall, Village Gallery of Arts in Cedar Mill, and Pacific University in Forest Grove.
