By entering shows and exhibits, Jeanne has won awards and ribbons, which keep her inspired to continue creating her art for the enjoyment of others. Although Jeanne is basically self-taught, she has taken many classes and workshops from such teachers as Arthur Selander, Pat San Soucie, E. John Robinson, Millie Van Sickle, Chris Williams, Jan Browne and Edie Olson. Jeanne loves the out of doors, enjoying the brilliant colors of the changing seasons. She has spent many hours searching the Oregon Coast Beaches for driftwood pieces. Growing up in the Columbia River Gorge has been an inspiration to her, being lucky to daily view the tremendous views of Mt. Hood in Oregon and Mt. Adams in Washington.
