Membership Application Form

The VGA Membership Application is available for prospective members once you have attended a new member meeting

Membership Requirements

  • Members have the opportunity to show their works of art to the public, both in the Gallery and in the community.
  • Members have a chance to sell their art work (commissions vary depending on the type of membership).
  • Members receive a monthly newsletter, the Art Focus, that announces upcoming shows (inside & outside), gallery functions & activities, opportunities for shows held by other organizations, resource members and their services, and information about other shows our members are in.
  • Each member can have their own individual artist gallery on the website which includes an artist statement/bio, maximum of ten (10) images of artwork displayed in an interactive gallery, and each  gallery page has a link to the artist’s website and an email link for inquiries to be sent. There is a one time, $25 set up fee for an individual artist gallery.

Member's Art Hanging Guideline

Refer to the Artists Hanging Guidelines for limits on the number and sizes of paintings and unframed artwork (bin art) per artist and for the restrictions on artwork for the Artist of the Month.

Guidelines for Artist of the Month Guidelines are available for download. These guidelines are also published in the Gallery’s monthly newsletter, Art Focus, and are also posted online on our Documents and Forms section of the site.
