The Village Gallery of Arts, in northernmost Willamette valley, rests on homelands sacred to the the Atfalati-Kalapuyans also known as the Tualatin Band of Kalapuyans —the first inhabitants of Washington County and other First Nations tribes throughout the region.  We acknowledge and express gratitude for the ancestors of this place and recognize that we are here because of the sacrifices forced upon them.  We honor their past, present, and future generations, who have lived here for millennia and will forever call this place home.
