From Juror, Jung Soo Park: I am a watercolor artist who joined the Village Gallery in 2015. Over the years, I have earned awards at the Village Gallery and recently started teaching watercolor classes there. 
I have been practicing watercolor and oil painting since my teenage years. 
In 1984, I moved from South Korea to the Pacific Northwest, where I was captivated by its beautiful landscapes. To express my own artistic vision, I graduated from the University of Oregon with a major in fine arts. After graduating, I worked at a design company for several years in Eugene, Oregon. Since then, I have been enjoying creating watercolor paintings in my studio.
