Art Dollars for Scholars is Back

Art Dollars for Scholars is coming back!
Mark your Calendars! Rose Rutherford-Ha is leading our Art Dollars for Scholars event, where community and member adults and kids can contribute to an open show in the Gallery during the month of May. Proceeds will help support our ongoing art student scholarship program. The Village Gallery of Arts is funding scholarships of $350 each for up to 2 graduating seniors who are planning to pursue a post-secondary arts program. Please save the dates:
> Entry fee and pick up panels starting Feb 4th
>Deliver finished art April 30-May 4th
>Show Hanging May 5th
> Show Opening May 6th
> ArtChat May 11th
> Show Ending June 1st
> Show Down June 2nd
Participants may begin paying their entry fees & begin picking up their panels starting on February 4th. Anyone may enter this show! Like last year, adult entry fees are $15 for each 10”X10” wood panel. These panels can hold paintings, collages, photography, textiles and even glass or ceramics, so there is no reason not to join the fun! Proceeds from the entry fees support our scholarship program. Each youth participant, 18 & younger, will be given one free 6”X6” stretched canvas. Youth entrants preferring a 10” square wood panels may also purchase one.
