Art Kits

Sharon Dunham, VGA Outreach Team Lead, has gathered 30 of our popular Sketchbook Art Kits to be given to Laura Becker, Arts Program Manager for the City of Beaverton. These Sketchbooks will in turn be given to Damon Smith, artist in residence, at the soon to open Permanent Shelter in Beaverton. Damon is completing 2 murals for the shelter’s interior and will work with shelter residents doing art during their stay.

Also, thanks to Diane Shingledecker, we now have the Make A Wish program as another new recipient for our free art kit program!   We hope that these sketchbooks will provide shelter guests with a creative outlet.
