I will have on hand, a few stencils, collage paper, and a few darker inks to share. I’ll also have some brush cleaner, rags, face tissue and paper towels. Fluid acrylics are different than watercolors, they clean up differently, the paints are diluted with matte medium – the inks give the artwork vibrancy that is unique. Best, Laura

Your choice of a few Fluid Acrylics – Golden, Holbein and Blick are a few brands to choose from.
(A red, a blue tone and a yellow work well to start) My favorites include:
• Holbein or Golden: Quinacridone Magenta Fluid Acrylic
• Holbein: Quinacridone Gold Fluid Acrylic
• Holbein or Golden: Phthalo Blue (Green Shade) Fluid Acrylic
• Florescent Water-Resistant Artists Ink, 1 oz
(Yellow, Pink, or Red— Pick one – two)
• Any brand White Fluid Acrylic
• Small bottle (8oz) of Matte Medium (not glossy) – flat
• 4 pieces high quality Watercolor Paper 11”x15”
• A piece of plastic to protect the tabletops (Approx. 24”x36”)
Will Need
• Detail brush #0 or #1 (If you have one already) Please don’t bring your expensive watercolor brushes
• 2-3 brushes that you might normally use such as a #4 and 1” flat brush
• Small Spray bottle filled with water
• Small bottle of rubbing alcohol
• 2-3 Plastic containers with lids – Cool whip, plastic to go box, or Tupperware work well)
• A board to keep watercolor paper flat tacked down.
• Tape or Bulldog clips to keep watercolor paper in place
• Pencil, eraser
• Tracing paper
• 7-8 Q-Tips and/or Cotton Balls
• Disposable pair of rubber gloves for gesso
• Brush Cleaner such as The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver
• Gesso
• Paper towels and rags
• Ruler and/or T Square
Nice if you have them already
• Stencils if you have a few
• White Gouache
• Water bucket or pail 1gallon
• Water soluble crayon White
• Extra watercolor paper any size
• Small notebook or journal for notes & sketching
• Transfer paper
