Fall Awards Show in October

October is the time for our annual Fall Award Show when member artists display their top works to be juried. This fall our show will be juried by Elizabeth Higgins.  

About our juror:  Elizabeth Higgins is a teaching artist in Hillsboro, Oregon who is passionate about the connections between creativity, nature and mindfulness.  Her teaching approach is centered on the belief that creative expression is a necessary component of human flourishing and well-being.  She teaches watercolor and nature connection classes for her private students as well as for various arts and culture organizations in her community.  

Elizabeth teaches and paints at her studio and classroom in historic downtown Hillsboro.  She is a juried member of Watercolor Society of Oregon and has won awards locally for her vibrant, expressive watercolor paintings.  Her artwork can be viewed at her studio located in Hillsboro’s Cultural Arts District.  (https://elizabethmhiggins.com)
