January Big & Bold by Lisa Manners

I used to live in Colorado and painted with a group of artists in Rocky Mountain National Park. The male elk shed their antlers each year and grow new ones. This watercolor was based on sketches and photos of a male elk who bugles to attract a mate.  I also have a chandelier at home that is made from shedded elk antlers.

Watercolor, “Bugling Elk” $900.  36 “ by 29”
