An Invitation to Membership
It is no accident that the Village Gallery of Arts has thrived for nearly 62 years. Organizations like VGA are vital to thriving growing communities. Art organizations unite people, celebrate diversity, and foster a sense of belonging. In fact, this is the heart of our mission: to ignite the joy of learning, creating, and appreciating art in our community by providing high quality, affordable, art education to children and adults, and venues for professional and emerging artists to share their art.
However, a compelling vision does not guarantee success, especially in the face of unexpected change. The key factor in the gallery’s longevity has been our dedicated membership. Their responsiveness to the needs of our community, during times of economic and social change, even a pandemic, has been remarkable! It is our member volunteers who bring people together, share ideas, educate the public, and never lose sight of the VGA mission.
As we look forward to the coming year, I invite all VGA members to join me in serving the Village Gallery, a community creating joy!
