Board Positions

The Second Vice President is a key position on the VGA Executive Board of Directors assists the President and, in the absence of the President and the First Vice President, must be prepared to preside over the Executive Board of Directors meetings and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors and the Bylaws.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring VGA strategic objectives are communicated to membership, ensuring Gallery security, and serving as representative and champion to the community at large.

The Recording Secretary is a key position on the VGA Executive Board of Directors, documents all monthly Executive Board meetings and shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors and the Bylaws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing agendas, taking minutes at all executive Board meetings, and serving as second signature. 

Gallery Team Positions

The Assistant Gallery Team Coordinator is a member of the Gallery Team, reports to and assists the Gallery Team Coordinator, and in the absence of the Gallery Team Coordinator, must be prepared to oversee the Gallery Team and all Gallery Operations. The Assistant Gallery Team Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the installation and quality of all Inside Shows including but not limited to the installation of twelve 12 monthly inside shows and managing the Featured and Big and Bold Artist displays for the month.

Marketing Team Positions

The Assistant Marketing Team Coordinator is a member of the Marketing Team, reports to and assists the Marketing Team Coordinator, as needed with Publicity, Newsletter and Promotions, Photography, Videography, Instagram, Facebook, Graphic Design, and ArtChat. 

The Newsletter / Promotions Leader reports to the Marketing Team Coordinator and plays an important role in driving engagement, increasing subscriber growth, and enhancing brand loyalty through the VGA monthly newsletters and promotions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to producing compelling content and publishing and designing a newsletter that aligns with the VGA Mission and Goals.

The VGA Videography Leader is a member of the Marketing Team, reports to the Marketing Team Coordinator, and plays an important role in capturing compelling video that tells the VGA story, highlighting VGA programs, and engaging the community. Responsibilities include creating high-quality video content that highlights our classes, programs, events, and impact. This role involves filming, editing, and producing videos for various platforms, including social media, the VGA website, and promotional materials.
