She begin a painting by sketching out a piece and then adding color as the painting moves along. If she find success, Suzanne will transfers the painting to canvas or board. Sometimes it works and sometimes not, however Suzanne finds the journey to be extremely satisfying. She has shown her work in many places, from fine art galleries to restaurants, libraries, coffee houses and various art shows. Suzanne is a member of Oregon Society of Artists, the Watercolor Society of Oregon, Westside Women’s Art Share, and The Village Gallery in Cedar Mills.
Suzanne is inspired by nature, our ever-changing world. She takes pleasure in being able to combine all of it into a painting. Anything can inspire her, from an old farm house to a friend’s child or pet or even just the shape of an orange. She is able to see the many possibilities that can result from a simple shape.
