VGA OUTREACH CORNER – A Snapshot of VGA in the Community
The Village Galley has had quite a presence in the community from art shows to art kits to tabling at events.
Here is a sampling of what we’ve been up to and how we can use your help to spread the gallery’s mission and achievements.
Two successful community art shows!
- The Spotlights show was a collaborative exhibition with Washington County Open Studios at the Walters Cultural Arts Center in Hillsboro.
- 70 pieces by 26 artists were displayed at Beaverton’s City Hall. This was by far the Gallery’s most successfully run show. Ten pieces sold.
HOW YOU CAN HELP – If you are interested in volunteering to table at the upcoming Volunteer Fair at the Beaverton Library on Saturday, June 10 from 10am – 1pm or at the Cedar Mill Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 22, August 19 or September 23 (shifts are 9-11:30 or 11:30-2), please contact Sharon Dunham, Outreach Team Lead at dunhamsw@frontier.com. These are fun events in need of your help!
